Cost of Probate?
By Barry Peters | May 7, 2019
The cost of probate in Idaho can vary dramatically. In addition to the legal fees, the total cost will include court filing fees, costs to publish a Notice to Creditors in the local newspaper, and the cost to record a deed transferring the real estate that may be involved.
But the largest factor is, of course, the legal fees.
At our offices, unless a feud erupts between the heirs or there is an exceptionally large creditor claim, we handle most probates for a flat fee of $2,495. That amount includes not only our attorney fees, but the court fees, publication costs, and deeding costs mentioned above. It is an all-inclusive fee.
